Black Woman-Owned Hair Care Brand
After years of hand-crafting skincare recipes for her family and friends, Louisiana native Janell Stephens, wife and mother of five, launched a line of products in honor of her grandmother, Camille Rose in 2011.
In 2012, Camille Rose transcended the online retail space when the products became available at over 100 Target stores. A plethora of US retailers followed suit with the brand now being offered at Walmart, Bed Bath & Beyond, Sally’s Beauty, Whole Foods, Walgreens, CVS and Rite Aid.
I had the amazing opportunity to have my artwork featured as on the Deep Conditioner of Camille Rose. The portrait is homage to all the women who feel empowered through their hair.
The limited edition deep conditioner is only available at Target locations nationwide in celebration of Black History Month.
